How to Use Charlie’s Soap Natural Stain Remover Spray

Spray our natural stain remover onto the stain as soon as possible. Rub the spray into the fabric and let it sit for 30 minutes or longer for set-in stains, even overnight. It’s ok if it dries!

As it starts to work, you may see the stain spread as it separates from the fabric.  That means it will get washed away.

Next, wash the garment using one of our powerful natural laundry detergents. Try not to dry the garment until the stain is gone.

If you can’t get around to washing the garment immediately, that’s okay. Our pre-spray is safe to dry and won’t fade colors or damage fabric.

Customer Questions

Is this safe to use on cloth diapers?

Yes! It is safe to use on your cloth diapers as well. We suggest spraying it on, then agitating the fabric. We also recommend that you leave it on for thirty minutes before washing and, as always, make sure to properly disinfect when laundering diapers.

Can Charlie’s Soap Pre-Spray Stain Remover be used on the carpet for pet stains?

Yes, Charlie’s Soap Pre-Spray Stain Remover should work well for pet stains.

  • Wet stain with water.
  • Spray Charlie’s Soap Pre-Spray Stain Remover full strength once directly onto the spot.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes (the longer the better).
  • Agitate with a stiff brush to work up a lather.
  • Add water and blot up with a towel or use a wet/dry vacuum if available.

As always, test for colorfastness on an inconspicuous area of the carpet before treating your stain.

Is this safe for use on washable silk?

Charlie’s Soap Pre-Spray stain remover is safe for all washable fabrics, but you might want to spot test on the hem of the garment before treating it.  Not all manufacturers use the same dying process, and poorly set dyes (especially dark colors) may bleed or fade.  So, we always recommend testing just to make sure.
