To help you save on energy, our powder detergent is also effective in both hot and cold temperatures. To presoak with our laundry powder, simply add a scoop into a bucket, tub, or sink of water, then stir to dissolve completely. Soak the desired garments for 30 minutes to an hour, then launder according to garment care instructions. No powdery residue or detergent stains—just an effective presoak that’s sure to lift grime and grease.
Carpets
As well as a powerful laundry solution, Charlie’s laundry powder makes for a quick solution to carpet messes. Since Charlie’s products are made with biodegradable and gentle cleaning agents, our detergents are safe to use on fabrics of every sort. To create a convenient spot cleaner for carpet spills and stains, simply add a scoop of powder laundry detergent into a spray bottle of warm water. Spray the affected area with the cleaning solution and leave the solution to soak in for several minutes. Then, gently dab at the area until the stain has lifted completely.
Upholstery Stains
Upholstery stains can be a big headache, but our powder detergent makes for a seamless cleanup. All-Purpose Cleaning
For most household cleaning, we recommend that you stick with a powerful all-purpose cleaner, like Charlie’s 1001 Degreaser or our Indoor & Outdoor and Kitchen & Bath surface cleaners. However, in a pinch, you can even use Charlie’s powder detergent as a household cleaner! Simply mix 1 part water with 2 parts laundry powder to create a thick paste. Using a rag or cleaning toothbrush, apply the paste to the surface you’re cleaning and scrub gently. Rinse the area and repeat as necessary.
