OVERVIEW

Charlie’s Soap stands behind each and every one of our laundry and cleaning products. In the off case that the product isn’t performing at your expectations please call our customer service line at 1-800-854-3541 and let one of our customer service representatives troubleshoot your specific situation. After 40 years of fielding questions, chances are we’ve heard it and can help you resolve it.

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase in the form of your order# or packing slip. Please do not send your purchase back to our warehouse without prior approval.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll send you an approval email with a return/exchange authorization.

Shipping returns

To return your product contact us at [email protected] to obtain return approval and shipping instructions. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. In the case of a mis-shipped items or items damaged by the carrier during transit item we will pay for the replacement of the damaged items or order. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Buy with Prime returns

Buy with Prime items purchased on our website and fulfilled by Amazon all fall within Amazon’s return policy as per below:

Amazon.com Returns Policy

Items shipped from Amazon.com, including Amazon Warehouse, can be returned within 30 days of delivery, with some exceptions:

  • For information about products that can’t be returned, see Items that Can’t be Returned.
  • To determine if a product sold by Amazon.com has a longer return timeline, locate the product type below. If the product type isn’t listed or doesn’t state another returns time frame, our standard 30-day return policy applies.
  • While most sellers offer a returns policy equivalent to Amazon’s, some seller returns policies may vary. If the seller’s listing is eligible for Amazon Prime, it will be subject to the same return policies as items fulfilled by Amazon.com that are outlined on this page. CUSTOMERS CAN INITIATE A RETURN ON A BUY WITH PRIME ITEM BY FOLLOWING THE STEPS BELOW:
  1. Open the order confirmation email.
  2. Choose Order details to see the order details page in the online returns center.
  3. Choose the Return button on the order details page. Note: Customers only see this button after the order has been delivered.
  4. For multiple-quantity orders, select the quantity being returned. Single-quantity orders are automatically directed to the return details page.
  5. Enter additional information about the return, for example: return reason, on the return details page.
  6. Confirm the estimated refund amount and summary of return details to create the return. When the return has been created, you’ll receive a return confirmed email.
  7. In the return confirmed email, choose Print return label and attach the printed label to the packaged return. Note: You can also access the return label from the order details page.
  8. Drop the return off at the location of the carrier listed on the return label.
